Kevin Knight retained the TNT Title against Speedball Mike Bailey and joined the Don Callis Family to solidify his heel turn. As for AEW World Champion Thekla, she is no longer sitting backstage like a silly goose, as she seemingly defiled the Stardom Logo to kick off her road to AEW Forbidden Door, where she will likely battle a top-tier champion from Stardom. In terms of the Owen Hart Tournament, Will Ospreay fulfilled his duty as the lethal assassin in the Death Riders by defeating his former United Empire comrade and AEW National Champion, Mark Davis, to advance to the finals. Meanwhile, Mercedes Mone, who won the Owen Hart Tournament last year, returned as the wild card to replace the woman who dethroned her for the TBS Title, Willow Nightingale, and defeated Alex Windsor to advance to the semifinals of the tournament. This tournament is getting spicy.
