The June 23 episode of WWE NXT is shaping up to be a great show as the company is building towards the Great American Bash Premium Live Event. So, the company has booked solid matches to keep fans engaged throughout the night. Tonight’s episode of NXT has a ton of action in store for fans. With the likes of Tony D’Angelo and more on the show, it’s definitely something fans shouldn’t miss. WWE NXT will air live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, starting at 8 PM ET.
Naraku will officially sign the contract for his upcoming NXT Championship match at Great American Bash, where he will challenge Tony D’Angelo. On the other hand, Kendal Grey will also have her contract signing for the NXT Women’s Title match against Lola Vice at Great American Bash. So we’ll have to see how the contract segments will turn out. The Evolve Championship will be on the line as Aaron Rourke looks to continue his reign against Tristan Angels. Rourke has quickly established himself as one of the top stars in WWE Evolve, but Angels has plenty to gain with a championship victory on NXT television. So it remains to be seen who will come out on top in the end.
Tournament action also takes place on the show as Izzi Dame faces Arianna Grace in the Women’s Speed Tournament. With advancement on the line, both competitors will be aiming to keep their tournament hopes alive and secure a spot in the next round. EK Prosper will go one-on-one with Keanu Carver in a match that is expected to surpass all expectations. Over the past few weeks, we have seen the emergence of Tristan Angels on WWE NXT. Through his presence, he has forced everyone to know his name. After the other week, you can now call him Mr. NXT. Evolve Champion, Aaron Rourke, was one of the judges for the Mr. NXT competition, and his vote was for Shiloh Hill. Last week, Angels and Rourke had an interaction in the locker room about their disagreements in the Mr. NXT decision. This backstage interaction is what led to Tristan Angels receiving an Evolve Championship match. Angels will have the opportunity to capture his first belt alongside the WWE. Since Evolve has only recently been reignited, there have only ever been two Evolve Champions. These two champions are Jackson Drake and Aaron Rourke.
