WWE Clash In Italy PPV May 31st 2026 Preview.

The Clash in Italy Premium Live Event is almost upon us and WWE has booked a solid lineup of matches that will definitely keep fans entertained from start to finish, as the show promises to be a memorable one. Clash in Italy 2026 will definitely be an action-packed affair from start to finish, featuring Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and more, so it’s definitely a must-see show. This Show will be taking place on May 31st at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy. The pre-show will begin at 12 PM ET and the main show will start at 2 PM ET.

For the first time ever, WWE will host a premium live event in Italy, and Clash in Italy already feels like one of the most important shows of the year. With massive matches such as Roman Reigns vs Jacob Fatu, Cody Rhodes vs Gunther, and Rhea Ripley vs Jade Cargill announced, the event carries major championship implications. However, beyond the title matches and star power, the promotion could use the show to reshape several top characters heading into SummerSlam season completely. Heel and face turns often define the company’s biggest events, and Clash in Italy feels perfectly positioned for multiple dramatic changes. The Bloodline remains the most unpredictable act in WWE heading into Clash in Italy. Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu are set to collide in Tribal Combat, and it feels almost impossible for the faction to remain united after the dust settles. If Fatu defeats Reigns and captures the World Heavyweight Championship, “The Samoan Werewolf” could immediately embrace a more dangerous heel role. His violent tendencies already separate him from previous Bloodline leaders, and championship power may only push him further into chaos.

Cody Rhodes defends the Undisputed WWE Championship against GUNTHER. The rivalry began when GUNTHER attacked Rhodes and made it clear he was coming after the richest prize in WWE. The last time they faced each other, Rhodes came out on top, so it remains to be seen whether history will repeat itself this time. Rhea Ripley faces Jade Cargill in a WrestleMania 42 rematch for the WWE Women’s Championship. The Eradicator toppled Cargill to win the title but the Storm is more than determined to reclaim her championship no matter what. With B-Fab and Michin in Jade’s corner, fans are waiting to see whether the title will change hands again. This past WrestleMania, we witnessed one of the most shocking moments in recent memory when, following his defeat to Oba Femi, Brock Lesnar left his gloves and boots in the ring to signal his retirement. However, as long-time wrestling fans know all too well, retirements in this business rarely last forever. That proved true in Lesnar’s case on the May 18 episode of Monday Night Raw. He made a shocking return, blindsiding Femi with a brutal ambush and delivering four devastating F5s to “The Ruler.” Following the attack, Lesnar’s advocate, Paul Heyman, presented Raw General Manager Adam Pearce with a contract already signed by his client for a rematch at Clash in Italy.

This past Monday, Femi officially signed the contract on Heyman’s chest, delivering a chilling warning: “At WrestleMania, I was fighting to beat Brock, but this time, I’m fighting to kill him.” Heyman is now billing this matchup as not only the biggest rematch in WWE history, but in all of combat sports history. The big question heading into this Sunday is whether Brock Lesnar can avenge one of the greatest defeats of his career or if Oba Femi will prove that “The Ruler” isn’t just a nickname but an absolute fact when it comes to dominating “The Beast.” Following his defeat to Roman Reigns at Backlash, Jacob Fatu continued to target the World Heavyweight Champion, while also refusing to acknowledge him. In response, Fatu was viciously attacked by both Reigns and The Usos on the May 18 episode of Raw.

At the same time, Roman Reigns turning heel again also feels realistic. “The Tribal Chief” has always been driven by ego and control, and the promotion could easily revisit that darker side of his character. ‘The Queen’ Charlotte Flair turning heel would surprise nobody, but that does not make it any less likely. “The Queen” naturally gravitates toward arrogance and superiority, especially when championship opportunities are involved. If Flair believes Alexa Bliss or Rhea Ripley is standing in her way, she could easily strike first and re-establish herself as one of WWE’s top villains. The promotion may also want to revisit a more aggressive version of Flair as the women’s division becomes increasingly crowded near the top. Alexa Bliss has quietly become one of the most suspicious figures in the Women’s division. While she has worked alongside Charlotte Flair recently, their partnership feels more like an alliance of convenience than one built on genuine trust.
