The May 4, 2026 episode of Monday Night Raw is expected to be a memorable one. The show will be the go-home edition before the Backlash Premium Live Event, so fans can expect a solid show from start to finish. Tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW will be one to remember. With the likes of Roman Reigns and more being present for the show, it’s certain fans wouldn’t want to miss out. Monday Night RAW will air live from the CHI Health Center Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska, starting at 8 PM ET.
Before their match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Backlash, Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu will have a contract signing this week on Monday Night Raw. Last week, Fatu hit the Tongan Death Grip on Reigns and took him out, so Reigns wants revenge. So, it remains to be seen what will happen during the segment this week. Ahead of their match at Backlash on Saturday, Asuka and IYO SKY sit down face-to-face and it’s expected to be a very personal segment considering the history between the two. So we’ll have to see how their segment will turn out in the end. Oba Femi destroyed Grayson Waller during last week’s show and then announced an Open challenge, putting the whole roster on notice. This week will kick off the open challenge, so fans are waiting to see who will step up to the Ruler and try to beat him.
Je’Von Evans & Penta will duke it out with Rusev and Ethan Page in tag team action. JD McDonagh will square off against Finn Balor again. Sol Ruca will also sign her Monday Night Raw contract this week. Finally, Brie Bella & Paige will also appear on the show. Je’Von Evans & Intercontinental Champion Penta vs. Rusev & Ethan Page is also scheduled for tonight. This seemed like an obvious match to book when Page and Evans both had post-match run-ins after Penta defeated Rusev last week. Finn Balor has a rematch against JD McDonagh tonight. Finn didn’t have much trouble beating him last time. Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu aren’t the only stars signing a contract tonight. Sol Ruca is in the building and will sign the contract that makes her an official Raw star.
The Street Profits keep getting involved in The Vision’s business, so a match against World Tag Team Champions Logan Paul and Austin Theory seems inevitable. Bron Breakker made a pretty good point last week about Seth Rollins not having any friends left to help him against The Vision’s numbers game. But what about Joe Hendry? I don’t think Seth has burned a bridge with him yet. If Joe is too busy performing live concerts to help Rollins, then maybe Seth can bring back his masked army of nobodies to take all of Bron’s spears for him. Seth’s lack of friends may allow Bron to get the last laugh on him tonight, ahead of their match at Backlash.
